Jonathan Spratt

With nearly 20 years' experience in the industry I have a passion for adaptive reuse of buildings across multiple sectors. With an interest in timber and hybrid construction, I've worked with some of the UK's leading commercial developers and cultural institutions.

My experience ranges from commercial developments to significant cultural and historic projects. I have most recently been involved in Bennetts Associates' innovative Timber Square, Southwark, and Puddle Dock masterplan in the City of London. I completed the front of house transformation of the Grade II*-listed Old Vic Theatre in 2019 and have led major elements of significant Bennetts Associates schemes from the mixed-use Tribeca in Camden to HS2 and the Stirling Prize-nominated Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

I've written and spoken on the subject of retrofit and net-zero carbon, held the position of Trustee Director of the Employee Ownership Trust for nearly 4 years and was part of the team involved in the creation of a Design Guide for the Get It Right Initiative (GIRI).
