Lowri Nicholson

Lowri is a Senior Urban Designer committed to shaping coherent, landscape-led places that respond to context and support long-term stewardship. She combines strategic design thinking with a practical understanding of planning and delivery, producing masterplans that are both visionary and implementable, from early concept through to detailed design and coding. Her work is grounded in the integration of movement, landscape and built form. She has particular expertise in structuring developments that connect positively with their surroundings, coordinating proposals across multiple landownerships and shaping neighbourhoods that draw from local character while establishing a clear and distinctive spatial identity. Lowri has a strong grounding in Town Planning in her early career. Lowri is currently lead designer for Levante Gate, a mixed-use extension to Milton Keynes comprising 1,250 homes, a primary school, sports pitches and a local centre. She works collaboratively with clients, statutory consultees and planning officers to maintain a vision that is deliverable, resilient and policy-compliant.
