Rebecca Wharry

Rebecca is a design leader and registered Architect with 15+ years’ experience delivering complex projects primarily across the education, science, research and innovation sectors. As Science and Education Director at BVN, she plays a key role in the growth of the London studio, leading projects from early strategic planning through to design development and delivery.

Throughout her career, Rebecca has worked closely with universities, research organisations and public sector clients to shape briefs, lead stakeholder engagement, test feasibility, and develop design responses that support ambitious academic and scientific outcomes. She combines strong conceptual thinking with detailed technical knowledge and a deep understanding of how complex buildings are delivered.

Alongside her project work, Rebecca contributes to business development, team leadership and sector strategy within BVN. She is recognised for her collaborative approach, clear communication and ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups, helping clients navigate complex decision-making processes and achieve successful project outcomes.

Prior to joining BVN, Rebecca held senior leadership roles within major UK architectural practices, where she delivered award-winning education, workplace and science projects.
