Stephen is Partner - Later Living at Pollard Thomas Edwards, where he leads the practice’s specialist work in housing and care for older people. His portfolio spans a range of typologies, from integrated retirement communities to purpose-built care homes, including a 116-bed luxury care facility on The Bishops Avenue, Barnet, and an innovative health-focused housing scheme in Thurrock combining independent living, intermediate care and community services.
Alongside his sector expertise, Stephen brings extensive experience in residential development and estate regeneration. He has led major schemes across London, including recent estate infill projects in Islington and Wandsworth, working closely with local authorities, residents and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, inclusive homes.
Stephen combines strategic insight with strong design and communication skills, making him a trusted advisor to clients and collaborators alike. A committed mentor, he has supported architectural apprentices and RIBA students at Central Saint Martins. He began his career in Dublin, working across residential, commercial and hospitality sectors in Ireland and internationally.
