Rob has 20 year's experience in Transport Planning, working primarily in Development Planning and for private developers. He also spent nearly a decade advising National Highways on Development Control issues. He has worked on schemes from 30 dwellings to 5,000; mixed use, strategic land and urban regeneration, as well as other notable projects such as Bristol Airport and Hinkley Point C.

Rob studied Product Design at undergraduate level and then Urban Design at Masters level. His role at an international multi-disciplinary consultancy also allowed him to lead multi-disciplinary input to project; the result of this varied background being he has a broad and relatively rare understanding of the context within which Transport Planning exists.

Rob is passionate about place making and contributing his varied expertise to the Panel.
